The Beaches
The Beaches, a garage pop band from Toronto, consists of singer Jordan Miller, lead guitarist Kylie Miller, drummer Eliza Enman McDaniel, and keyboardist/guitarist Leandra Earl. The Miller sisters started playing music at a young age, and by 2008, they formed the punk-pop band Done with Dolls, which signed with Disney and released an EP. After high school, the band evolved into The Beaches, releasing their self-titled EP in 2013 and the Heights EP in 2014. Their 2017 debut album, Late Show, produced by Emily Haines and Jimmy Shaw, featured the chart-topping single "T-Shirt." They continued their momentum with a successful headlining tour and the release of The Professional (2019) and Future Lovers (2021). In 2022, Sisters Not Twins won the Juno Award for Rock Album of the Year. Their second studio album, Blame My Ex, arrived in 2023 with the single "Me & Me."
